I am Elle Nado and I am a Contemporary Mixed Indigenous Artist
Having been raised in the Pueblo of Acoma (Haaku Hanutra) and Navajo (Diné) Nation, my upbringings had granted me an unforeseen amount of knowledge and deep appreciation for attention to detail, to color, to the rain and family.
Having to navigate the conflicting nature of Traditional lifestyles & Modern living, has one of the many topics I address through my artwork.
